“Turquoise Duet” was partly painted in a live demonstration during the Ocean Festival 2026 in Plettenberg Bay.
The sand used in the painting is from Keurboomstrand, the beach at her doorstep.
With a palette knife for the background and pointillism for the dolphins, Marcelle captured the shimmering surface of their skin.
